JOURNALS Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
December 29, 2006
While they will always share the number one spot in our hearts, we must reluctantly
confront the reality at times that not everyone shares our belief system. And we must
show tolerance for others, no matter how different or shocking their creed. For example,
the users of the entertainment search engine Celebrities Worldwide placed
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in 47 and 59th place, respectively, in terms of being
the most popular global star.
Miraculously, while meeting the poor and destitute in Costa Rice this week,
Brangelina managed to spend a mere $100,000 on themselves.
"During the Joli-Pitt family's stay, not only was their bungalow heavily
guarded, but they also had delicious food, a private pool and a spa at their disposal,"
ANI
reports.
And, as we close out 2006, it appears BP and AJ will be bringing in the new year in Costa Rica.
According to
The Associated Press,
"Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt can't seem to get enough of this Central American country."
December 28, 2006
Jennifer Aniston is anything but forgotten in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie land.
"Brad Pitt celebrated his 43rd birthday at ex-wife JENNIFER ANISTON's favourite West Hollywood restaurant where the two spent many nights together while they were married,"
this report informs us.
Although there is celebrating to be done at this time of year, the work must
continue on for the world's greatest couple. Namely, "BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE are stepping up efforts to aid people in need in their son's home country of Cambodia,"
writes contactmusic.com.
And heaven forbid that we should go a week without further reports that a Brad Pitt
and Angelina Jolie wedding is just around the corner.
December 27, 2006
Feliz Navidad to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The number one
celebrity pair has been spending part of its holiday in beautiful
Costa Rica. Brangelina dashed off to the Central American country to meet up
with refugees from conflict-plagued Colombia.
"The paparazzi magnets wanted a low-profile visit with no news media,
so reporters were notified only after they had left the country,"
Australia's
Herald Sun
reports.
"Access Hollywood"
brings long-serving Angelina Jolie enthusiasts another bit of good cheer this holiday season.
She has been named top female newsmaker of the year with
a whopping 79 stories about her.
And lastly, yet another piece of good news. Angelina says her mom will win her battle
against cancer. "She's doing good. She's very strong and her spirit remains unbroken,"
Angie told Larry King.
December 22, 2006
Christmas may still be three days away, but we already know how
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's stockings
are going to be stuffed.
TMZ.com reports: "The Jolie-Pitts are sure to have a clean Christmas this
year, as Angie picked up two dozen sets of baby animal-shaped goat milk
soaps from eZoetic.com. Each $14 set includes soaps in the shape of a dog, lion,
fish and frog, and were developed especially for sensitive skin."
Meanwhile, Angelina's new film "The Good Shepherd" has not
met with universal approval. One reviewer calls
the movie "an exercise in tedium."
And in a bit holiday praise for her partner Brad, Angelina says that he has taught her
to be sensible. "(He) has taught her to slow down and plan her
life and adventures more carefully,"
we learn from Hello magazine.
December 21, 2006
Angelina Jolie almost missed out on Brad Pitt. Can you believe it? We never would have
if we hadn't read it on the Internet. ""I didn`t think it was something I should (do). I didn`t know what I was looking for, but it wasn't something that obviously spoke to me,"
The Bosh quotes Tittletattle as quoting Angelina.
Togehter Brad and Angle comprise the most popular Hollywood couple over
at IMDb.com. The couple finished fourth and second respectively.
Johnny Depp once again emerged victorious.
And the 24/7 Brangelina coverage does have its adverse side effects. Namely, Jennifer Aniston has been
an unfortunate victim in all this. "Getting dumped is bad enough.
But imagine being incessantly bombarded with pictures of your ex and
his impossibly gorgeous, confident and successful new babe,"
The Examiner writes.
December 20, 2006
Wives around the world will be sleeping just a little bit easier tonight with the
knowledge that Angelina Jolie would never steal a husband. Calling it "one of
the worst things you could do," Angie says she hated her character in her most recent film
"The Good Shepherd" because she
"seduces a married man, played by Matt Damon."
We hate to drop this bombshell on our loyal reader(s) so shortly before Christmas, but there
is word out today that the future Ms Brad Pitt -- assuming everyone will be able to marry one day --
is considering throwing in her thespian towel. She told the world's greatest interviewer, Larry King,
that she might abandon acting, during a chat with
the
septuagenarian sultan of schmoozing.
And we end today
with a question
(found here):
A newspaper
described Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as having a âtawdryâ affair.
Why are affairs always described as âtawdryâ?
December 19, 2006
And heretofore we thought it was the liberals who wanted to undo all that was good in the world.
But no, conservatives also wish to destroy one of the foundations which have made
America the great nation it is today -- 24/7 celebrity gossip. Yes, people here he is,
the man who never wants to hear the five words so precious to our hearts -
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
We hope he gets a one-year subscription to US Weekly in his stocking.
With only six days to go before the big day, Brad and Angie are putting the finishing touches on what
promises to be a huge celebration. They are going to enjoy three different sorts of Christmas festivities
to include their adopted children's native traditions.
And lastly Angie says she knew Madonna would run into problems with her Malawi adoption application.
"Madonna knows very well that she adopted from a country without legal adoption, so it was an unusual situation," she
is quoted as saying.
December 18, 2006
Matt Damon says he found his sex scene with Angelina Jolie "weird". That adjective
is one way we might describe our fantasies about the future Mrs Pitt, but presumably not in the way
Matt means it.
The Sun
has more details on Matt and Angelina's cinematic sex scene in "The Good Shepherd".
And yes, the future Mrs Pitt is not a typo, unlike the numerous other typos you might find on this site.
Wedding rumors have once again resurfaced, as this report from
DailyIndia.com
fills us in.
Move over Jay Leno and David Letterman, you're not the funniest person in the world in
Angelina's opinion. That title belongs to none other than her daughter Zahara.
"Zahara is possibly the funniest person I've ever met in my life ! She's definitely the biggest personality in the house,
Angie was quoted as saying here.
December 14, 2006
Thank you, Ms Jolie, may I have another. According to a report out today, Angelina is a stickler for
strictness. "I am the disciplinarian. Brad can be, but if Z doesn't get the bottle from me, she'll very quickly run to Daddy,"
Angie told People.
And People has just gone ahead and awarded Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their brood the
title of Family of the Year. Not that we had known that such an accolade ever existed.
And finally in today's Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Matt Damon
says he is inspired more by Angie the person than Angie the super ultra babe. ""She's just absolutely beautiful, but she's a terrific actress and that kind of overpowers her beauty, believe it or not, when you're right next to her,"
Matt tells Contact Music.
December 13, 2006
Attention Jennifer Aniston: Angelina Jolie would like to have a word with you.
"We passed each other and said 'Hi' briefly and shook hands, but
not a real sit-down-and-talk kind of meeting. That would be her decision,
and I would welcome it,"
NBC
quotes Angie as describing her one encounter with Jen.
And while this is going on, it turns out that Ms Aniston is trying to reach out to Brad Pitt.
âSheâs calling him and saying, âI just need to talk to you. Iâm not doing OK,'" an insider
has told US Weekly, as reported by
The National Ledger.
And finally in today's Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, we've heard from Angelina
about how she fell for Brad. But how come we haven't heard from Maddox?
Until now that is.
December 12, 2006
After a couple of very slow weeks -- in Brangelina terms, that is --
things have finally begun to
pick up in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie news. For, Angelina has spilled
the beans on her romance with
Mr P. According to the
Associated
Press (which details her interview with
Vogue), Angelina says "she wasnât looking for a relationship
when she began working with Brad Pitt on Mr. & Mrs. Smith,
adding that the couple 'remained very, very good friends' after shooting the movie."
As the loyal reader(s) of this column don't need to be told just how fascinating Brad and Angelina are.
But there are some who still need convincing. That's why we
have
Barbara Walters.
"There was no couple more fascinating this year than the Jolie-Pitts," she says.
And rounding up a busy Brangelina day is news of their attendance at the premiere of
Angelina's new film
The Good Shepherd
in New York last night at the Ziegfeld Theater.
The film was directed by cinematic legend Robert DiNiro.
December 8, 2006
According to several reports today, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are going to get married very soon.
And no, not at George Clooney's Italian villa. Rather, the couple are planning a quiet wedding
in South Africa. "In direct contrast to recent A-list newlyweds Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, the pair will have a more modest ceremony, with a handful of famous guests, such as Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney, Daniel Craig, Madonna and Guy Ritchie,"
Metro writes.
South Africa is quite a ways away from Pittburgh, where Brangelina
are presently caused a big splash.
"The workers at Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater got quite a surprise
Thursday afternoon when Brad Pitt and Angelia Jolie showed up for a tour of the estate,"
WTAE TV posts on their website.
December 7, 2006
A Mighty Heart, the film recently shot while Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
were in India,
will have its premiere at the Karachi Film Festival, according to
India eNews.
The film is based on the life of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.
And lastly speculation continues to pour in on Brad's most recent ex Jennifer Aniston, who
has just split up with Vince Vaughn and who at 37 has expressed her desire to one day have kids.
December 6, 2006
Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie starting a trend or following one? That is the question
the Vietnamese press is raising. They choose the latter
when it comes
to Americans going to the country
on holiday.
Meanwhile, the really big Brangelina story of the day doesn't completely concern them. It involves
Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn. Vauniston, as they were known to some, have split up and gone their
separate ways. In fact, according to some reports, Vince decide to pull a Kevin Federline by
hanging out with exotic dancers in Budapest.
Apparently, Brad and Angelina are watching all this news
from
the Big Easy
while he films "The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons".
December 5, 2006
While Brangelina news has been becoming increasing scarce in recent days, one of Mr Pitt's exes did manage
to make some headlines. Gwyneth Paltrow is alleged to have told a Portuguese newspaper that the British are
"more intelligent and civilized" than Americans. However, Gwyneth has told
People magazine
that this is not the case at all, and that she is in fact quite proud to be an American.
Meanwhile, we have found out from a report by
UPI
that George Clooney, the poor man who just lost his pet pig, could not be
prouder of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. "They have a very smart theory, which is, if the cameras are going to follow them, they're going to go where the cameras can do some good," Clooney said.
December 4, 2006
Well, sometimes the best have to settle for second place -- or at least when it comes to their offspring. According to
The New York Daily News,
"Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' baby, Suri, received the most hits of any celebrity baby. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's baby, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, was the runnerup."
Yet finishing second in online searches was a better result for Mr Pitt -- coming in behind Simon Cowell, of all people,
in The Sun's poll of who women think about while they are making love with their partners. Brad came in fifth, behind David Beckham as well.
Angelina Jolie did slightly better, placing fourth among the women that men think about.
December 1, 2006
In addition to their adoration of their adopted offspring, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are also
aficionados of the arts. In particular, they have a fondness for the works of Bansky, who has
just produced a rather controversial piece on Michael Jackson.
"The piece by Banksy features the King Of Pop standing in the doorway of a cottage trying to coax a young boy and girl into his house with sweets,"
reports
All Headline News.
And from Namibia we are informed today that Brangelina Africa hideaway has been sold.
"The Burning Shore lodge at Langstrand - which tasted overnight fame earlier this year when Hollywood celebrities Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt chose it as their nesting place for the birth of their first child - was sold to the United Africa Group (UAG) this week,"
The Namibian writes.
Lastly in today's Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie,
we have praise for the
compassion demonstrated by Hollywood's greatest couple.
November 30, 2006
after being chosen The Sexiest Man Alive. "I worked hard for that one.
But I felt bad for Matt Damon, because he really wanted it. He campaigned
hard for it, but he came up short. And poor Brad.
He ran such a good campaign, but he got some bad advice along the way,"
The Post Chronicle quotes Clooney from his appearance this week
with David Letterman.
We also learned today from
MTV.com
that the online gaming site Bodog.com is taking
bets as to whether Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will adopt next year. And, if they do, which country
the baby will come from.
And, though we are going through a rather slow Brangelina news day,
The New Straits Times
chronicles what led to the entity we know today as Brangelina.
November 29, 2006
The celebrity battle to stake out small, impoverished countries as their own has now
hit the intellectual media.
The New Republic
mentions Brad and Angelina's claims to
Namibia and Cambodia in a piece about Madonna's Malawi:
"Brangelina have Namibia--though Angelina Jolie also has Cambodia, so she's apparently a bad sharer. Alyssa Milano has Angola. Matt Damon has Zambia, though Naomi Watts is muscling in there, too. Now, Madonna has Malawi."
The financial press also finds Brangelina worthy of discussion in an article about the
cashback loan. In the process
The Motley Fool
a person theorizing about that difficult
period when Brad left Jennifer Aniston.
Alright, alright, we have to admit it's been an incredibly slow Brangelina here in America.
But in the Philippines they're discussing
the seven-year itch among celebrities and applying it to the aforementioned painful episode that
played out in early 2005 with Bradifer.
November 28, 2006
Watching Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie travel around the world can sure tire a person out --
especially those of us who never leave the basement of our mother's house. India, Cambodia, Vietnam ... Now, according
to South Africa's
News24
they are considering a return to Namibia before Shiloh turns one.
"Leon Jooste, Namibian deputy minister of environment and tourism,
confirmed that the couple contacted him from India to inform him that they would be returning to the peace and quiet of Namibia,"
they say.
Today we learn that the couple are keen to do everything to keep their romance alive.
Among the amorous things Brad does, according to
The National Ledger,
is have a talk with Angelina before he turns in every in the evening.
And for those who have not cloyed their appetite for information as to how Brangelina spent Thanksgiving,
E! Online has all the details.
November 27, 2006
Hotel staff in Hanoi had something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving weekend, even if it
wasn't their holiday. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are,
according to Zee News,
very good
tippers:
"A source revealed that the star couple, who were staying at the Park Hyatt hotel during their stay in the tiny country, were insisting that staff not give them the special treatment, and also left generous tips whenever they dined at the hotelâs restaurant."
Lesbianism and Angelina Jolie are being used in the same sentence again. Ms Jolie has
no problems with doing a love scene with another women -- which will no doubt bring a smile to
men everywhere.
The South Asian Women's Forum
had this to say about the subject: "While most people may be uneasy about onscreen sex scenes, especially a lesbian romp, Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie is so comfortable with it that she puts her co-stars too at ease."
And, though they have now left Vietnam,
CNN
tells us that Brangelina did manage to make it to an orphange during their trip:
"Hollywood superstars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie doled out candies and toys during a surprise visit to an orphanage in southern Vietnam, a state-run newspaper said on Saturday."
November 23, 2006
Whoa! Who saw this one coming? Brad Pitt and Angelina have left India and have made a surprise trip to
Vietnam. This is such a big item that even
CNN
is posting it: "Photos of the couples on a gray scooter appeared on the front pages of state-run newspapers on Friday, puzzling some Vietnamese who had never heard of them before," the
piece read on their site today.
While in Vietnam, instead of opting for a Thanksgiving feast, Brangelina chose
to see the
Vietnamese capital Hanoi on a motorbike.
"Pitt was spotted driving the motorbike through the city
center with Jolie perched on the seat behind him Thursday
in a country where just about everyone travels on the two-wheeled machines,"
according to witnesses.
Prior to their arrival in Vietnam, Brad and Angelina made a stop in Camboda, where, among other things,
they visited a museum dedicated
to honoring the memory of those killed
by the Khmer Rouge.
November 20, 2006
At last it has been revealed how Angelina Jolie managed to wrest Brad Pitt from the claws
of Jennifer Aniston: voodoo.
The Hindustan Times
writes that:
"according to a leading voodoo expert, Doctor Snake, Jolie has allegedly put a magical spell on Pitt to forbid him from rekindling his relationship with the former Friends beauty."
Brad has been busy over the weekend defending the actions of Angelina's bodyguards.
As ITN reports, the guards are accused of insulting parents and children at an Indian school in an
effort to keep the paparazzi away while filming was in progress.
The couple had other things to do this weekend as well, like attending the
wedding of the second
most important couple in the world in Italy.
Yes, Brad and Angelina shared the wonderful occasion with numerous other celebrities
to see Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes tie the knot.
November 16, 2006
Nobody could possibly claim that Angelina Jolie is the sort of woman who is averse to
confronting challenges. After all, this is the woman who so shortly after giving birth hopped
on a crowded Mumbai train. Now the actress has told
The Associated Press
that her current role in "A Might Heart" has been a major challenge as a whole:
"Playing Mariane Pearl 'was certainly challenging for me, as I have to make the world understand this woman and her family,' the Hollywood actress said."
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt's partner was apparently stuck in a school after a row between
her bodyguards and some locals.
"US star Angelina Jolie was Thursday stranded at an Islamic school in Mumbai where she was shooting a movie, when angry parents accused her bodyguards of shoving their children around,"
AFP reports.
And finally, The Times of India tells us that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie want to quash reports
they are planning to adopt while in India. She also explained why they couple have not
been too readily available to members of the local media.
""We have been avoiding the press since we landed in India, but the only reason was that we had a lot of work to do," she said.
November 15, 2006
The long-anticipated wedding between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has been cancelled. Okay, their
wax wedding.
According to
People
and the Associated Press,
"Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas has scuttled a plan to mount an exhibit depicting a Pitt-Jolie wedding after a rep for Pitt protested."
Adoption is a subject that has obviously been closely linked to Brangelina, who
Bang Media International reports:
"revisited an adoption center in India at the weekend, sparking rumors they are planning to adopt again."
And Madonna has quickly vanquished the slim hope of peace in the world of celebrities by
criticizing Mr Pitt and Ms Jolie.
"As well as criticising Brad and Angelinaâs work with orphanages, Madonna â who has sparked controversy after adopting a Malawian baby called David - also trivialised Angelinaâs role as a UN Goodwill Ambassador,"
this virtual source tells us.
November 13, 2006
Who says stars don't risks? Today Angelina Jolie did something incredibly brave: she hopped
on a train. As we all know, Angelina is about to star in a film about the life of Daniel Pearl with co-star
Dan Futterman.
"In Mumbai on Monday, Jolie sporting a pale blue T-shirt and khaki trousers stood in a queue to purchase a ticket. Then Jolie and Futterman, also casually dressed wearing jeans and a white shirt, boarded a train,"
The Associated Press writes.
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt and his current love showed the world how to be
model parents, according to The Sun. "The superstar pair were the image of
perfect parenting as they walked down the Indian streets with their kids in their arms and on their shoulders," it reports.
And finally in today's Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie we
have discovered that
Bollywood has gone Brangelina.
"(T)he locals, who regularly rub shoulders with high-profile
film stars on their streets, poured out in their tens of thousands to welcome the celebrity
couple and their children Maddox and Zahara," The Austalian says.
November 8, 2006
Mid-term elections and the divorce of Britney Spears from the great Kevin Federline
are not enough to overshadow Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie news. The couple
has postponed adopting an Indian baby because of the controversy surrounding
Madonna's plan to take home a boy from Malawi. "A source told Britain's New magazine:
'No one wants to be dragged through the heartache that Madonna has. It's a real shame.
Angelina was so saddened. When people start questioning the legality of adoption,
of whether you'll be able to keep the child, it gets into a territory that's just
heartbreaking.'"
Meanwhile, in two months time, Brad Pitt and Vince Vaughn
"will fight it out at
next January's (07) 33rd People's Choice Awards in
Hollywood after being named Best Leading Man nominees."
And finally in today's Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie we find
out just how important Brangelina news has become. It has made
The New York Times
of all places. The Times writes about the role of the paparazzi in modern media.
"The question is whether we really want to learn more about the
people on the other side of the telephoto lens," the paper says.
November 6, 2006
We begin this week's Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie news with a note of gratitude expressed
by Angelina for the experience she has had this past month in India. Making one of
her few ventures in public since she began filming in the country, Angie met with some key
figures in the Indian government over the weekend.
"India should be commended for all that is done and I am grateful to the Indian people,:
she said.
But Brad, on the other hand, was spending his weekend in Los Angeles.
"the proud papa flew back to the U.S. to join co-star CATE BLANCHETT on the red carpet for
the premiere of his new drama, 'Babel,"
according to this report.
And, as you might expect, keeping up with Brangelina has proved mighty tiring
for some of the
poor paparazzi. "Even though one Angelina Jolie pic might fetch him thousands
of dollars, it seems the experience of being manhandled by the actress'
bodyguard has left British photographer Sam Relph sick of her."
Zee News writes.
November 5, 2006
Talk of a possible terror threat against Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has continued unabated
throughout the weekend, leading Brangelina broadcasts as far away as
New Zealand.
According to reports,
"sources in New Delhi said that Indian intelligence officers decided to
tighten security for the couple, acting on tips from local anti-terror agents and Pakistani
officials that the stars could be a target of an al-Qaeda terror attack."
Meanwhile, the terrorists can do all the talking they want, that is not going to
deter Angelina Jolie from carrying out the business of the day. For example, today
Angelina "met Indian junior foreign minister Anand Sharma on
Sunday and discussed the problems of refugees and how Indian freedom
hero Mahatma Gandhi was still relevant to conflicts around the world."
November 3, 2006
The dozens upon dozens of reporters who work to bring constant Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie updates
are strained to the limit. What a 24 hours it has been! We begin today with
further news that Brangelina has been considered a potential target of terrorist action.
And what more proof do we need as to the seriousness of this threat than
the reportage it has received in the most respected, most venerable news source in the world:
Rupert
Murdoch's Sun.
"ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT are at the centre of a huge security operation after
receiving death threats
from al-Qaeda," the
paper reports.
But today's news about Hollywood's golden couple does not stop there.
According to
this story, the Brangelina brood may grow at an unfathomable rate.
"The couple have allegedly agreed to adopt an underprivileged child for every biological child they have,"
the story proclaims.
And lastly in today's Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, something is afoot.
For why else would Brad Pitt be
fleeing Pune,
India where he has been camped out
the past few weeks?
November 2, 2006
Who cares about the imminent dangers of global warming or the threat posed by North Korea
when the big story that continues to dominate the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie world is whether
the feminine side of Brangelina is pregnant. More reports are coming in today
from sources we certainly trust that claim Angelina is pregnant.
Or then again, maybe she isn't.
But what a time for this otherwise wondrous news to occur. It now appears that
both sides in the Cambodian charity dispute are planning to take legal action.
The Phnom Penh agency that Angelina accused of
stealing is demanding she apologize.
And lastly in today's Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Brad is still stinging
from being photographed in Vanity Fairwearing nothing but his boxing shorts.
November 1, 2006
Jennifer Aniston, the former Mrs Brad Pitt, has been described as feeling "downtrodden" in articles
making news in the Brangelina world today.
According to a story by
BANG Media International about an interview with the UK's OK! magazine,
"The actress, who played browbeaten characters in 'The Good Girl'
and 'Friends With Money', believes she landed the roles because she can
empathise with those emotions."
An update to yesterday's story about Angelina's spat with a Cambodian aid agency:
she has now placed her own group
in charge of the project.
And it seems like ages since we have had any really juicy Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie gossip, but finally
it is here: Brad is furious at a Vanity Fair photographer and Angelina may be pregnant again.
October 31, 2006
Two big Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stories have come our way this Halloween.
According to
the Associated Press,
Angelina might sue a former ally of hers in Cambodia.
"We are considering filing a lawsuit to recover the hundreds of thousands
of dollars that is missing and which he was responsible for," said Trevor Neilson,
one of Ms. Jolie's advisors.
Elsewhere, Brad Pitt has teamed up with former American president Jimmy Carter to help
with a humanitarian project in India.
"The Babel star arrived in Lonavla yesterday.
Pitt joined Carter and other volunteers.
The group is building a new home for Aziz and Sadhiya Sheikh,"
writes Divine.
October 30, 2006
As we all know by now, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, the world's second most important couple,
are going to get married next month in Italy -- thereby beating out Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
in the race to tie the knot. Just to show there are no hard feelings,
Brangelina
will be in attendance at the Tomket nuptials, as will George Clooney
who was originally rumored to be have been the would-be host of a possible
wedding of Brad and Angie at this Italian villa.
The E! television crew whiich we mentioned last week is still one of the major Brangelina news
items starting out this week.
The camera team hopped onto Brad's territory
last week while he and the family were awa in India.
And lastly today we feel obligated to mention the horrifying news that al-Qaeda is
contemplating Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
as a possible terrorist target.
"British security experts reportedly rushed to Pune, India, earlier this week,
after being alerted by neighbouring Pakistan that the Hollywood couple may be
a target because of the film's political nature,"
writes Monday's Metro.
October 27, 2006
Everyone is babbling about
Babel, the new motion picture vehicle to maintain
Brad Pitt's status as one of the world's top box office draws. Brad stars along with
Cate Blanchett in this thriller about the struggle to survive in the remote sands of the Moroccan desert.
Brad apparently found an interesting way of amusing his fellow thespians on the set.
According to ABC, he would pull down
his pants to give himself a wedgie, sticking out his rear
and waddling
about like a duck. "Throughout the movie, I'd walk around like this," he says.
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie is raising the stakes in the adoption battle with Madonna.
A report
out today says she "plans to adopt an Indian baby to add to her growing international brood."
This will no give her a commanding but not insurmountable lead against the aging pop star.
October 26, 2006
Oh no! Say it isn't so Brangelina.
According to reports,
Hollywood's golden couple is in big trouble. A chopper carrying
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to a posh hotel in Jodhpur, India was
flying over the area without permission from the property authorities.
Look out Beltway. Brad has told French magazine
Cine Tele Revue that the couple is thinking about
buying a home
in the nation's capital.
"LA is not really a place to raise kids. We might move to DC, but nothing is settled," Brad says.
And we might finally have the reason Angelina has been fainting so often of late.
One report wonders whether it could be
because she is pregnant again.
"The fact is that the âTomb Raider âstar fainted three times on the set of her new movie in less then three weeks," says Spotlighting News.
October 25, 2006
Police sources have told
TMZ.com that an E! camera crew
"is currently under investigation, and the entertainment network
has provided cops with what could be Exhibit A in a criminal prosecution."
The crew entered Brad Pitt's compound in the Hollywood Hills on October 19.
E! Entertainment has been working with the police and even sent them a DVD of what their crew had
filmed.
Also on TMZ today is word from Madonna who, in addition to chiding the press for their reporting
of her adoption battle, says that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie played absolutely
no role in her decision to bring back an African boy. It is just
some huge misunderstanding or coincidence...
Lastly in today's Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is further speculation as to what might
be ailing Angelina. Ms Jolie has fainted several times,
according to some reports,
since she and Mr Pitt arrived in India earlier in the month.
October 24, 2006
Dare we say that events for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie during their stay in India were
beginning to appear routine. Well, routine for multimillionaires. Yesterday, the couple went on
a shopping spree for jewellry
in the historic town of Jodhpur.
"Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, along with their son, visited
our showroom and purchased traditional Kundan and Minakari jewellery from us,"
said D.R. Singhvi, the owner of Gems & Art Plaza, a Jodhpur-based jewellery showroom.
Do you want to work for Brangelina? Do you consider yourself smart? Well, Brad and Angelina
might consider you as one of their potential employees.
The Associated Press writes that -- in light of the recent problems with Brangelinian bodyguards --
thuggish bodyguards who rely
on football-player physiques and tough-guy attitudes might
cause more problems than they solve.
And while they'll always be number one to us, Mr Pitt and Ms Jolie came in
second in a recent contest to name the
"Scariest Halloween Couple Costume" of
the year behind Britney Spears and Kevin Federline.

he could face 16 years in jail. Namibia does not have an extradition treaty with the US.
National Ledger is reporting that Life & Style will report that Angelina
collapsed on the set recently while
filming "A Mighty Heart". L & S is claiming that this is the third time
the female half of Brangelina has fainted since filming in India began.
Otherwise it has been an amazingly quiet day in Brangelina news.

Angelina Jolie is covering up her assets, according to the South African website
Tonight.
"The Tomb Raider actress - who has two adopted children, Maddox, 5,
and 19-month-old Zahara, and a biological daughter, Shiloh Nouvel,
with partner Brad Pitt - apparently does not want to embarrass her
children with any racy film scenes,"
the site says.
Mike Straka at Fox News
wonders today whether Brad Pitt might have had a
"foot in mouth" moment
when he asserted that he would not marry Angelina until everyone in America was free to wed.
"I wonder if he cringes when he remembers that pictorial he did with Jolie depicting a 1960s suburban family to promote "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," which hit magazine stands while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston,"
he adds.
And, lastly in today's Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie,
Defamer is keeping score in the Brangelina versus Madonna African adoption game.
It looks like the pop star is about to tie the match up at 2-2.
October 18, 2006
Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie took time off their busy filming and touring schedule in India to provide a little advice
to Madonna who has been criticized left and right for adopting an African child
from the country of
Malawi.
"Brad
and Angelina know all about the adoption and have been helping
Madonna and Guy in every way they can. They know how important it is to them
and how difficult the process can be,"
a friend of the pop singer said. Brad and Guy have been friends since they
worked together on the film
Snatch in 2000.
What was Brad doing in Jaipur? asks The Daily News & Analysis of India. Word has
it that Brad might be making a commercial in The Pink City which is to be directed
by Tarsem Singh, the man who brought us "Losing My Religion" by R.E.M.
And, lastly in today's Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie,
who is that womanwhose name we see close to that of Brad Pitt's?
Why it is none other than Gwyneth Paltrow with Brad Pitt. Gwyneth
and Brad will be reuniting on screen for upcoming film about
Richard Nixon entitled Dirty Tricks.
October 17, 2006
It looks like Tom Cruise has taken a page out of the Brangelina book. The Mission Impossible
star is rumored to be considering exactly what Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were thinking of
doing: getting married at George Clooney's Italian villa.
"It is believed Katie Holmes, 27, and Tom, 44, opted for an Italian wedding because it
was in Rome where they confirmed their relationship with a very public kiss,"
this
article states.
While the Cruise-Clooney collaboration is going on, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
decided to go to Goa, the Indian resort that has attracted the rich, the famous and the
curious for ages.
And, lastly in today's Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, comes word that Brad Pitt
is expanding on his many talents. Yes, now Brad
is learning to play the mandolin. Why?
Because he wants to immerse himself in current role -- that of slain reporter Daniel Pear --
in every way he possibly can.
October 16, 2006
The battle between the security team for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
and the paparazzi desperate
for the latest news about the Hollywood pair has begun to resemble a Miami
Hurricanes and Florida International
University. Yet another altercation has transpired. This time a photographer for the
Associated Press says that guards protecting the set near Pune, India where the couple
are filming
punched
him in the face and place a gun to his head. Gautam Singh, who
had gained legitimate entry into the area, claimed that the guards said he would be shot if
he did not
leave. Neither Brad or Angelina were there at the time.
In other Brangelina tidbits, Brad says that Americans need to "wise up" about Africa.
He believes that his compatriots
have an overly romanticized notion of the continent. Americans
have been pampered by having everything they need at their disposal, Mr P proclaims.
What is that old saying that guests and fish start to smell after three days?
It would appear,
if reports are to be believed, that some in India have had enough of the Pitt-Jolie
experience.
"India first was charmed, but
now Pune residents are growing a bit weary of the American super
couple known as 'Brangelina', reads
one report.
October 13, 2006
Movie moguls are trying to line up Brad Pitt to play the lead role in the film version
of the hit BBC TV drama "State of Play". Brad will be slated for the part of
journalist Cal McCaffrey. The BBC success was about a team of journalists who are investigating the
mysterious death of a political researcher. Brad and Angelina Jolie are currently in India making a
film about another journalist, slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.
How would Biblical voices sound? Cathleen Falsani, religion writer for
The Chicago Sun-Times,
believes Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock would pass for Adam and Eve. Angelina Jolie, however would be Mary to
Matthew McConaughey's Joseph.
And in vicariously related Brangelina news, the former Ms Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, has denied
reports that she is breaking up with Vince Vaughn, according to People magazine. The two starred of course
in the summer movie "The Break-Up".

Yesterday was not a good day to be a teen biker in India. The Indian Express is reporting on an
ugly turn in
the
race to capture Hollywood superstars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on camera. A teenage
cyclist riding down a busy road in the city of Pune, where the superstars are currently
filming, was
the unfortunate victim as the Brangelina convoy attempted to dodge an army of paparazzi in
hot pursuit. Though not serious hurt, the bike rider filed charges against the driver
of the vehicle with
local police.
The Hindu is reporting that as a result of yesterday's incident a large posse of policemen
has been stationed outside the five star hotel where she and Brad Pitt are staying.
Until now,
"security for the Hollywood couple was being provided by private bodyguards and
security personnel hired from a local company."
And Madonna has finally followed in the footsteps of Brad and Angelina.
There had been much press speculation that the queen of pop was planning
to adopt
an African child and now that news has been confirmed, according to the Associated Press
which reports: "Madonna and her husband
took custody of a motherless 1-year-old boy from Malawi on Thursday."
October 11, 2006
This week has become one of almost unparalleled Pitt and Jolie newsmaking. Yesterday we had
Brad and Angelina making hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons following a
kerfuffle with a member of the press corps. Today we have Brangelina turning news about them
back in a positive direction with the announcement that they are
donating
$100,000 to the Daniel
Pearl Foundation, on the what would have been the slain reporter's 43rd birthday.
Sadly, this is not enough to impress Donald Trump. The real estate tycoon
is "turned off" by Angelina who he does not even find attractive. "I'm not a
fan of hers as you probably noticed.
I know her father. Her father is a nice guy. I think she treats him like a dog
but maybe they have some kind of a thing," says The Donald. Well, at least Donald Trump
finds Donald Trump attractive.
And if that were not enough of a blow for Angelina it turns out
she has sparked a race row as well for playing Marianne Pearl instead of giving the
role to a black actress. Nevertheless, Marianne herself is not upset. "I'm delighted
Angelina Jolie will be playing my role. I deeply admire her work," she said.

The paparazzo who was roughed up on Sunday by a member of Brangelina's security
is considering
legal action. The melee transpired as Brad Pitt and Angelina
Jolie were set to go out on a family rickshaw ride with their five-year-old son.
An unnamed member of the entourage of bodyguards grabbed British photographer Sam Relph.
The
incident was filmed by India's CNN-IBN news channel.
"He said if I took his pictures he would kill me. I couldn't breathe. He
had his fingers on my windpipe and he knew what he was doing," Relph was
quoted as saying in the
Hindustan Times.
Meanwhile, the Bogie and Bacall of our era went out of their way
to thank their Indian hosts
yesterday for the reception they have received
since they arrived in city of Pune to start working
on their new film. ""We deeply appreciate the warm
welcome we have received from the people of Pune," Angelina
told People magazine.
And the
Mumbai Mirror
is reporting today
about Angelina's penchant for filming love scenes with
other women. Why does Angelina have a thing for lesbian shoots? Because she can
talk about shopping
with another woman. "I love doing them because between takes you talk about
the sales. One minute you're in a passionate clinch with the woman,
and then the next you're discussing what outfits to wear for your night out,"
said the female half of Brangelina.
October 9, 2006
While those of us who make our "livings" following the day-to-day events of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
may take the occasional weekend off, as we know Brangelina news-making never stops. And what a weekend it has been in
India. First off Ms Jolie led weekend entertainment news with the announcement
that she is deeply
saddened the couple is not
shooting their latest film in Pakistan. "I am
disappointed that we could not
shoot the film in Pakistan, a country that I love and have visited three times," she said. A Mighty Heart, the
story of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl is being made in Pune, India.
A drama transpired yesterday as the couple were taking five-year-old son Maddox
on a rickshaw
ride. Cameramen, photographers and reporters scurried after the Pitt-Jolies. Traffic was slowed
during the 20-minute ride and security guards followed the Brangelina entourage on every turn of the
pedal.
And, finally, a funny fun thing happened on the way to the aforementioned rickshaw ride. Well,
not so funny for the photographer who was manhanded by a beefy Brangelinian bodyguard.
The entire
incident was caught on film by an Indian television station.
October 6, 2006
The Brangelina has officially landed. After days of speculation that Brad Pitt
and Angelina Jolie
were in the Indian city of Pune, confirmation has come today from
The Times of India.
The couple arrived Thursday afternoon at 2:40 local time.
"Both Jolie and Pitt were wearing white-coloured full sleeve T-shirts
and trousers and exchanged greetings with the airport staff, before
boarding a white Mercedes van," reports
The Times.
In other Jolie-Pitt news, Brad fears that he has ruined the entire country of Namibia.
Brad frets that the African state is no longer the calm, peaceful place it once was
following the attention Camp Brangelina brought to it earlier in the year.
The Pitts and the Jolies are expanding. Some reports are forecasting that Brad
and Angelina will add an additional three adopted children to their family next year. Why are they doing this?
To form a soccer team. Or, so says Brad Pitt: "I'm not joking around. I have three kids
now and by
next year, I'll have six. Nine. We're looking at a soccer team. I want to compete in
the World Cup."
Elsewhere, intelligence agencies are following Hollywood's number-one couple around during their
stay in India. Fears that Pune, the city where Brad and Ms Jolie are currently making a
film,
might
be a terror target have placed the country's police on high alert.
And we end today's Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie with a very good bit of news indeed:
Brad's
life has been put in perspective now that he has past 40 and had kids.
October 4, 2006
A female singer named Madonna has followed the example set by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
The 48-year-old pop star wants to bring more attention to Africa. A commendable cause.
Madonna arrived yesterday in the country of Malawi
to help orphans infected by AIDS, and there are
reports that she may leave home with an adopted child.
Meanwhile, Mr Demi Moore, Aston Kutcher, claims he would love to have a body
like Brad's. "I went and saw 'Troy', I was with my wife and with a friend, and every time Brad came
on he was like naked or whatever, they were like, 'Ohh', and I'm like, 'I'm right here, I'm sitting right next to you.'" he
tells TMZ.com.
Finally, the secrets of celebrity relationships like that enjoyed by Brangelina,
Vince and Jen, and Paris and Paris
have been revealed in a new book.
October 3, 2006
Donald Trump has finally weighed in on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. What took him so bloody long?
The Donald admires Brad's cunning for postponing his marriage
until everyone in America can wed freely.
The Apprentice guru says, "It makes him look really concerned about the plight of other people. Yet at the same time, he doesn't have to get married. This guy is smarter than I thought."
He might not be playing for England any more and there may be some questions regarding his future with Real Madrid, nevertheless
David Beckham won't be looking for work any time soon. Brad and Angelina
have asked the Spice Boy
to be Maddox's
personal soccer coach.
Finally, Brangelina fever continues unabated in India as the Mr and Mrs Smith stars finish
the second day of their stay in the city of Pune. Brad and Angelina, as well as few Bollywood stars,
are filming a movie about Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.
October 2, 2006
Forget about a cricket rivalry with Pakistan, it's Brangelina fever that is gripping India today.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie arrived in the city of Pune to make a film about the life of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.
Nobody knows where the illustrious couple will be lodging during their stay though both a spacious farmhouse and the Le Meridian hotel have been listed as possible digs.
Brad's desire for a biological son cannot be restrained. Even more reports have surfaced today with the word "desperate" being bandied about in relation to Mr Pitt's urge to have a male heir.
But sadly we end today's "Today in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie" with speculation of Angie's fears that Brad has returned to his old Lothario ways. Yes, Ms Jolie that Mr Pitt
might be cheating on her.
September 29, 2006
It's fact. Brad Pitt wants another kid with Angelina Jolie.
You heard it here third. The New York Post wins the Brangelina scoop du jour
which made it's way over to the folks at TMZ.com and then onto us.
"He is adamant and wants her to get pregnant again right away," claimed source
close to the couple. All the better if it happens to be a male heir, according to the
unnamed source.
But how exactly Brad is going to accomplish his aforementioned desire is another matter.
For, as The Post Chronicle reports, trouble is a-brewing
as Angelina wants no part of this latest Pittian plan.
Apparently, we are not the only ones fantasizing about an affair with Angelina Jolie.
The Sun
reports that Janice Dickinson, a 51-year-old model whose men have included Sly Stallone
and Jack Nicholson, is now hoping to share a bed with Angelina. âI'd do her in a heartbeat!â she
proclaimed.
Canada now has it's own version of Brangelina, tentatively dubbed by
the gossip press north of the
border as "TieLinda". They are none other than Canadian politician and heiress Belinda Stronach -- who was once
linked romantically to Bill Clinton -- and former hockey enforcer Tie Domi, who played for the Toronto
Maple Leafs.
According to this entry in Wikipedia, Brad Pitt is considering an appearance in the hit BBC2 comedy
"Extras", which was written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, the guys behind "The Office".
