Sampras Continues To Play Brilliantly In Nike Commercials

Despite bowing out of the French Open in the first round, former men’s number one Pete Sampras continues to play devastating tennis in Nike commercials.

And, as the tennis world slowly turns its attention to Wimbledon, Sampras is desperately trying to revive that indomitable technique he has demonstrated throughout his Nike commercial career.

The tennis star is now reviewing tapes of some of his historic Nike commercial confrontations against Andre Agassi to help return the former glory back into those once awesome forehands, wicked serves and celebrated backhands.

"Certainly the Sampras of commercials would easily knock out the Sampras of the professional circuit in straight sets," declared tennis commentator Goran Bigotovich on ESPN27 at 3 a.m. last Friday.

"Sampras needs to get back to that wonderful form he had in those classic 1995 Nike commercial matches against Andre Agassi if he is to have a chance of winning another Grand Slam," Bigotovich went on to say to nobody in particular.
