Court Warns Company Not To Bundle Protractors With Compasses

Microbore , the world’s leading supplier of compasses, has been warned by a federal appeals court judge not to bundle its new protractors with its latest version of XP 2002 Curves -- set for release sometime in 2005.

"Bundling protractors with compasses would surely have given Microbore an unfair competitive advantage in the elementary school geometry market," said Scott Jurgsen, a school supplies analyst at Spiral, Downe, and Faste Securities and Mufflers.

Leading protractor companies, which had protested against what they deemed as the monopolistic tactics of Microbore (Omaha Stock Exchange:BORE), were pleased by the court’s ruling.

"First they merged their abacus with a slide rule, now they are trying to take over the geometry market. They had just gone too far," responded an angry and unprovoked Scott McFeeley, president of Sum Microbesystems.
