Leaders Inadvertently Find Cure For Insomnia At G8 Summit
Kananaskis, Alberta (Chortler) - A major scientific breakthrough in the fight against insomnia was reported in the Canadian resort town of Kananaskis where leaders of the worldâs most developed nations are meeting this week.
While failing to deliver concrete solutions on global warming, the Middle East crisis and international terrorism, the unexpected find does mark the greatest achievement ever at such get-togethers.
"It is a wonder this had not been discovered earlier," said Agatha Tation of the University of Alberta Institute of Advanced Boredom. "All you need is a video of eight men who all look like they visited the same tailor mixed with about ten minutes of selected sound bites. This is even better than a Michael Dukakis speech."
An estimated 40 million Americans suffer from some form of sleeping disorder, half of whom were said to have fallen asleep within five minutes of viewing segments of the summit on the nightly news.
