72% of Forgotten Celebrities Support Military Action in Iraq

A new survey of washed-up, forgotten celebrities shows that 72 percent of them are in favor of military action in Iraq.

"I tend to back an aggressive strategy that would both instantly cripple Saddam’s military infrastructure and enable the swift progression of democratic forces to take hold of Iraq," said foreign policy authority and former "Three’s Company" star Joyce "Janet" DeWitt on "Meet the Press" this Sunday.

DeWitt’s views seemed to echo the majority sentiment among past celebrities long since resigned to a life of reruns in the outer reaches of cable television.

"Heck, I’m for whatever Joyce said if it will help me get a date with her," responded Larry Kline, best known for his eponymous role as "Larry," DeWitt’s sex-crazed neighbor, on the 70s and 80s sitcom.

Nevertheless, that hawkish view was not shared by all forgotten celebrities. Speaking on ABC’s "This Week," Anson Williams, the world affairs scholar and "Potsie" from "Happy Days," stated that "all efforts for a peaceful solution should be exhausted before the military option is even considered."
