Bush To World Leaders: âNow Who Else Upset My Dad?â
In an attempt to single out countries unwilling to lend a hand in the US-led effort to oust Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein from power, President George W. Bush vowed today that he is prepared to go after other heads of state who annoyed his dad.
"Donât any of you out there get the idea that Iâm crawfishing. If anyone says something bad about my dad then he shouldn't be surprised if he faces the full might of the US military," said an adamant Bush.
One by one anxious world leaders spent the rest of the day trying to appease the younger Bush after his stark warning.
"Hey, your dad was a great guy. Feel free to throw up in my lap too if you want," said Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi
"Who said anything about him being an imperialist weasel?" asked Cuban President Fidel Castro. "I was only kidding. Iâm a kidder."
"The government of North Korea stands by its position of not kibbitzing your dad. He was one heck of a mensch," said North Korean leader Kim Jong-il
Bush is still waiting to hear back from 48 world leaders before he starts building his next international coalition, presently code-named "Operation Be Nice To My Dad Or Else."
