Do These Snowdrops Herald the End of Winter?
The blanket of snow which has shrouded many parts of Europe for the past couple of months started to thaw this week, our contributor explains. The flowering of snowdrops – or galanthus – are a signal to some in the Northern hemisphere that spring is just around the corner. These photos were taken at a housing estate in Bekescsaba, Hungary.
