North Korean Golf: Will 2011 Be the Year Kim Jong Il’s Course Record Is Broken?

The North Korean Open is being organized by British businessman Dylan Harris of Lupine Travel, a company that arranges trips to all kinds of exotic locations.
According to the tournament’s website:
The course can service up to 100 competitors at a time and includes a service area covering 2700 square metres, including shops, restaurants, conference rooms and sauna. There are also angling or boating facilities to use during breaks from golfing.
Participants, though, try as they might, will probably have a hard time breaking the 18-hole course record of 38 set by none other than the Dear Leader himself, Kim Jong Il. That amazing round featured 11 holes in one.
Hungary’s Top Female Golfer Slain
The husband of Hungary’s top female golfer, Krisztina Fodor, 36, was arrested by Hungarian police on Thursday for murdering his wife in their Budapest apartment.
