As if things were not bad enough for Hungary’s outgoing Socialist party which was routed during the country’s national elections in April after eight years in office.

Now the Socialist government spokesman, Domokos Szollar, someone who is presumably supposed to defend the party’s positions, admitted to voting for another party during a television interview on Wednesday, according to a report on Politics.hu.

Szollar told Hungarian channel TV2 that he voted for the newly formed liberal-green party LMP (Politics Can Be Different).
