The spirits’ department at Chortler Enterprises has just alerted us to the news that Stoli Vodka has set in motion a new website and a new “Would You Have a Drink With You” ad campaign featuring Playboy’s Hufh Hefner and actrees Julia Stiles.The Russian vodka, known to Muscovites as Stolichnaya, has come a long way from its origins in the Moscow State Wine Warehouse in the middle of the past century. It is now Facebooking and Twittering with the best of them.
The extened clip above provides some interesting insights as to how the entrepreneurial Hef broke with the conventions of the 1950s to form the Playboy empire and then on to how he wound up sitting at a bar drinking with himself.
