Let’s just say that one of the members of our staff of one had a bad experience purchasing premium services with ning.com and investigated the possibility today of procuring the f**kning.com domain name.

Well, it turns out that someone as early as August 2005 beat us to it. And that someone is ning.com, the collective baby of Gina Bianchini and Mark Andreessen.

At least the address registered to the two domains match.

Also worth nothing is the fact that Ning.com itself did not offically launch until two months after the registration of f**kning.com.

It just goes to show the preternatural savvy of some in the Valley of recognizing the value of a domain like f**kning.com nearly five years before we did.
