Brangelina in Budapest: What the Hungarian Press Is Saying

The stellar cluster comprised of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt has been filming an (as yet) unnamed movie about the Bosnian War for the past few weeks in Budapest. Though the Hungarian capital is not unaccustomed to people of note gracing its historic streets, the city has never quite been in the same supernova category of New York, Paris and London.

The presence of Hollywood’s leading power couple, though, has temporarily turned Budapest into a focal point for celebrity news. The Hungarian media, too, has been transfixed by the sight of Pitt and Jolie ambling down the town’s walkways.

Here is a small dose of what has been reported by the Hungarian press in recent hours:

Velvet.hu noted today’s sartorial developments. The online entertainment site wrote that while Angelina changed coats for Monday’s filming at Budapest’s Attila Jozsef housing estate, Brad Pitt chose to don a distinguished pair of glasses which added an air of gravitas to his demeanor.

Stop.hu called Jolie the “angel of the housing estate” in its headline today. “It appears that Angelina Jolie’s first film as a director will be set in the winter,” the news portal states. “The crew covered the many parts of the Attila Jozsef housing estate with snow.”

Meanwhile, Story Online has oodles and oodles of photos featuring Pitt, Jolie and the gang enjoying a balmy mid-autumn afternoon in the park.
