Books: Vordak the Incomprehensible: How to Grow Up and Rule the World

When was the last time anyone said something nice about a super villain? (Bill Gates doesn’t count.)

Naturally the last label Vordak the Incomprehensible would want attached to his name is “nice”; nevertheless, in his latest tome, “How to Grow Up and Rule the World”, the infamous bad guy charitably imparts the wisdom attained from decades of super villainy onto the youth of today.

With a college degree increasingly costly and worthless at the same time, becoming an evil ruler might certainly be a more attractive option than bussing tables at Applebee’s for someone with a PhD in Philosophy. (With a price tag of $13.99 their parents would undoubtedly think Vordak is offering a better deal than an American university.)

All Vordak asks in return for dispensing this valuable advice is to be named second in command. Of course, should some unseemly accident befall the leader of the evil world, then Vordak would magnanimously step in to take over and fulfill his (or her) duties.

In the end, young people could to worse than becoming an evil ruler. They could wind up working for Goldman Sachs.
