MUSIC Dick in a Box: Andy Samberg, Justin Timberlake
This has got to be the best work Andy Samberg has delivered thus far. His earlier pieces,"Lazy Sunday" the Natalie Portman rap, and "Don't Cut My Testicles" with Tom Hanks, were certainly noteworthy, but this takes it to an even higher level.
Here he enlists the help of Justin Timberlake to form a hirsute duo which sings about the Christmas gift every girl dreams about -- a dick in a box.
The DVD of Saturday Night Live's first season has just been released. The spirit and originality which were brought to life by the team that included Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd and Gilda Ratner live on in Samberg. Despite having its questionable moments the show still manages to create a gem every once in a while.
