Pass Me A Bucket, Michael Richards Has Spoken

Yes, we are writing 2006 on our calendars. And no, this isn't a scene that was cut from Borat. Michael Richards, best known for his Kramer character on "Seinfeld", disgraced himself by launching a verbal tirade against members of his audience Friday night at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood.

Well, the Factory churned out chagrin instead of chuckles on this occasion as Richards, never famous for his subtle ability to turn a phrase at the best of times, hurled a series of expletives and repeatedly used a very derogatory term for African-Americans at those audience members who had been talking during his set.

Members of the audience, initially shocked, began heading for the exit. Richards then seems to have walked off the stage, going down the route of Jimmy the Greek and unlikely to be seen in prime time in the near future.
