Ne-Yo Soundtrack and Tour Coming This Month

On November 14, 2006 Boston based Mass Appeal Entertainment will release the soundtrack to the long anticipated sequel of Save The Last Dance. Save the Last Dance 2 is a collaboration between MTV and Paramount and after premiering on MTV on October 7th, was released straight to DVD on October 10. The film portrays a story about heart, hip hop, and finding one’s place in the world. The story continues in New York as Sarah (Izabella Miko) is one step closer to realizing her dream. She’s put to the test when she finds herself torn between her talent for classical dance, her passion for the urban/hip-hop scene and a very sexy musician named Miles (Columbus Short.) Movie producer Robert Cort is also credited for Jumanji, Mr. Holland Opus, Against The Ropes, to name a few.

Def Jam recording artist Ne-Yo served as Co-Executive Producer for the album, penning most of the original recordings on the soundtrack including the single worthy “Watch U Dance”. Ne-Yo, who is currently on US/European tour with fellow R&B sensation Chris Brown, has made several appearances on MTV to present and promote the soundtrack. He will also be the force behind many radio contests throughout the U.S.
