SEE THE TRAILER
Greg the Bunny, the short-lived Fox television series from the early days of the new millennium,
is back on a two-disc DVD entitled
Greg
the Bunny: The Best of the Film Parodies -- thanks to IFC which has provided the
show with a new life.
The DVD had to be made. After all, how long could Greg and Warren survive without work?
Especially now that Warren has developed a drinking habit.
Fourteen episodes are included here that showcase some of the best work in the history
of puppet parody. Among those classic films mocked are Easy Rider, Annie Hall,
Fargo and the ultimate target of movie mockery Pulp Fiction. Other satirical
titles are Naturally Sewn Killers and Count Blah crime in The Godpappy (The Godfather).
Seth Green (Scott Evil from Austin Powers) is the human link that guides these
brilliant puppet through each adventure.
Besides bursting with graphic violence, illegal drug use and gratuitous puppet sex,
the DVD includes two featurettes, "Affurmative Action" and "Ezekiel 25:17," commentaries
on all 14 episodes from the show creators, deleted scenes, a gag reel and photo galleries.
