Kazakhstan Invites Borat For A Visit
We knew that Central Asian hospitality would prevail at the end of the day.
According to
Reuters,
Borat Sagdiyev, one of the top journalists the region has ever produced, has been invited by the
government of his native Kazakhstan for a visit.
"His trip could yield a lot of discoveries -- that women not only travel inside buses but also drive
their own cars, that we make wine from grapes," said Kazakh first deputy foreign minister Rakhat Aliyev.
Borat's film,
Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, opens
nationwide on November 3rd.
