NEWS Borat In Deutschland
Borat Sagdiyev, the former Gypsy catcher and now one of the top journalists in the history of Central Asia, was in Germany last week to promote his new film Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.
There he received the best international comedian prize at the sixth annual German Comedy Awards in Cologne. The ceremony was broadcast on German RTL television.
"Good evening gentlemen and prostitutes," Borat said as he greeted the crowd. "I love Germany. I love sex."
"I will put this prize next to the only other one I won," Borat continued. "From Central Asian Olympic Committee. For hitting gypsy with rock at 50 meters."
Borat's first feature film opens on November 3rd.
