MUSIC Barbra Streisand and George W. Bush Sing A Duet
And heretofore we were under the impression that music is the glue which brings
us all together.
It certainly brought anti-Bush forces together during a Barbra Streisand concert
this week at Madison Square Garden. During the course of her performances Babs
has been singing a duet with famed Bush impressionist Steve Bridges. Yet it
so happens that some of those who hold the utmost disdain for the current administration
can tire of tirades against George W. Bush after a while. Some attendees at the concert started heckling
Streisand midway through one of her ballads. To which Babs retorted:
"Shut the fuck up, would you? Shut up if you can't take a joke."
