Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Give Their Money Away
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are giving away $2 million to various
humanitarian causes. To put it into real terms, this charitable donation
amounts to roughly two million times the annual salary of the average online
magazine writer.
The recipients of the Brangelinian largesse, organized through the newly
formed Pitt/Jolie Foundation, are Global Action for Children and Medecins
sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders). Each organization will get a
million a piece. Their contribution will help fight some of the problems
plaguing the African continent, such as malaria, conflict and AIDS.
Angelina is already a goodwill ambassador for the UN High Commission for Refugees.
