Borat Sparks Diplomatic Talks
The White House denied reports today that it is in emergency talks to
patch up relations with Kazakhstan due to the adverse publicity the country
is receiving before the release of Borat's new film in November. Hence,
if the administration has been so keen to deny the reports, they must be true.
One thing is for sure, the Kazakh government is not pleased with the
negative PR from the faux journalist, played by Sacha Baron Cohen.
The Government has expressed its displeasure about Boratâs representation
of our country," said Roman Vassilenko, the Kazah ambassador to the US Roman Vassilenko.
In fact, the Central Asian Republic has now launched a counter-offensive
highlighting its glories.
Borat's movie, officially called Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for
Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan is set to be released on November 3rd.
However, MySpace users can get a preview on September
20th at
http://www.myspace.com/borat.
