Brother Bear 2
WATCH THE TRAILER
There's a four year old who raved so much about the first Brother Bear
DVD that we felt compelled to view the second. Thus it was with eager
anticipation that we unraveled the plastic and placed the disc in the slot.
This time we find our
human-bear hero Kenai awaking after his first hibernation. A craving
for berries takes he and his pal Koda for the best Crowberry Ridge has
to offer. They soon hook up with their pals Rutt and Tuke, who are busy
courting a couple of moosettes.
Along the way they encounter Nita, Kenai's childhood chum, who presents
him with a problem only he can solve. Back in his human days Kenai
had given Nita an amulet which turned out to have more importance than either of
them realized at the time.
Nita's future marriage cannot take place until the amulet is burnt at Hokani Falls.
Thus the difficult return over wild terrain is set in motion. It is a journey that we lead them on the course of discovery.
Many a recognizable voice is heard on the DVD: Patrick Dempsey, Rick Moranis, Dave
Thomas, Jeremy Suarez, Mandy Moore, Wanda Sykes, Andrea Martin and Catherine O'Hara.
Bonus features included "Trample Off, Eh" in which viewers can help Rutt and Tuke
win a date with the moosettes. There is also a featurette with Melisa Etheridge
on how she created music for the movie.
