NEWS Blitzer Gets Sterned
Thanks Thomas Cipriano. This week you helped us relive the 1990s. Those wonderful
pre-Sirius years when Howard Stern pranks enjoyed their heyday. Now, they have
become so overdone, you've gone and made us feel slightly sorry for Wolf Blitzer.
Yesterday on The Situation Room, Blitzer thought he was speaking to Wendy Hutchens,
the creepy woman who said she had an extended correspondence with creepy John Mark Karr, the creep
at the center of the creepy JonBenet Ramsey murder case.
Instead, Wolf had Cipriano, a gas-station employee from Pennsylvania.
"Wendy, thanks very much for doing this. Tell our viewers how you got involved with John Mark Karr," inquired Wolf.
"It started around September of 2001, when he told me that he knew more about the JonBenet Ramsey case than what anybody else had known - and that he was instructed to kill JonBenet by Howard Stern," responded the faux Wendy Hutchens.
"All right. Well, that sounds like we've just been Howard Sterned, as they say," surmised Wolf.
