Tramm Hudson: The Dumbest Politician in America
Faced with stiff competition from both sides of the political aisle
(remember Joe Biden from a couple of weeks ago and his remarks about
Indian workers), Tramm Hudson, a Republican candidate for Florida's
13th Congressional District, decided to raise the bar for dumbassedness
with comments he made about the swimming ability of African Americans.
(Actually, the comments were made some time ago, during a speech he gave at
a Christian Coalition forum in February but are just starting to be circulated now.)
"I grew up in Alabama. I understand, uh, I know from experience,
that blacks are not the greatest swimmers or may not even know how
to swim," Hudson said as he recollected his experiences of leading his
infantry company across a river during a training exercise.
The spirit of Jimmy the Greek is alive and well.
