Stephen Colbert Gets Jon Stewart To Apologize To Geraldo
The confrontation we have all been waiting for didn't happen as Jon Stewart bowed to pressure from Comedy Central colleague Stephen Colbert and apologized to Geraldo Rivera.
Yes, Colbert had called Stewart out.
Rivera stoked the flames during an appearance with Bill O'Reilly by describing the ineffectuality of Stewart and Colbert, and the whole loony-left Comedy Central scene.
Naturally, felt Colbert, since Geraldo had directed such scathing comments at the two of them, it would only be natural that Stewart apologize to the legendary reporter.
"Walk a mile in his moustache," urged Colbert.
