A Reporter's Sloppy Seconds

During a White House press briefing this morning, CBS reporter John Roberts referred to Samuel Alito, the Bush administration's most recent pick to replace departing Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, as “sloppy seconds.” Roberts was alluding to the fact that Alito's nomination comes immediately after that of Harriet Miers. Thanks to the Drudge Report, we at postdocme.net have now learned that the term “sloppy seconds” actually carries sexual connotations. Thus, we asked our panel for their thoughts on the matter.
It's about time these major-league a$$h*les in the media started watching what they said.
I agree. Personally, I am appalled by the amount of f**king profanity in present-day discourse and I find it unacceptable.
Did someone say “sloppy seconds”?
