BETWEEN THE LINES The Explanation Behind Mariah Carey's Wardrobe Malfunction
There are some out there in the press who have
dismissed Mariah Carey's wardrobe malfunction
on a television set last week in Germany as
a cynical ploy by the pop diva to gain some
free publicity. (You might remember these
same critics who last month cast doubt on
the profound love shared between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.)
Unfortunately, we in the online satirical news industry
know otherwise, for we understand the problem of dresses
mysteriously falling off women.
Indeed, one of the many problems in the online satirical industry --
besides the short working hours, the travel to exotic places and
the enormous salaries we in the business receive -- is the countless
amount of women's apparel that falls to the ground in our presence.
No doubt Ms. Carey had spotted Wolfgang Lautesfart, a writer for
postdocme.net's sister publication Deutsche Ha Ha Ha Zeitschrift,
a magazine that showcases the proud history of German humor, who happened
to be in attendance during her television performance last week.
Thus, while Ms Carey's wardrobe malfunction might have perplexed or
led some to suspect its motives, we in the online satirical press
happen to see it as a common, everyday occurrence.
