Australia To Serve As US Missile Shield

In an gesture unprecedented for its selflessness the nation of Australia has graciously volunteered itself to take on the role of the United States' very own missile shield system.

“Bring it on, mates,” said a defiant John Howard, the Australian prime minister. “We can take anything them poofter bastards have got.”

American officials were genuinely struck by the Australia's grand act of charity.

“Gee, you followed us unquestioningly through the Iraq war despite overwhelming disapproval amongst your own citizenry. And now this,” stated a grateful US President George W. Bush. “Thanks Australia.”
